Brake line and ends size/type?

Hi can anyone confirm the type of brake pipe required in terms of idmm and what kind of male/female connectors to use (metric/UNF size?)

word of warning - i needed and could not find any male to male metric unions at any motor factors, GSF or anywhere else for that matter... i had to order online... strange but true
