    type 85 brakes

    what can i install?
the problem is that i want to have only original-size sport-quattro or s1q wheels.

and all the porsche and so on - are for 19 wheels...

p.s. suspension will be installed from s2 (only 5*112+springs and shoks)

I have seen pictures of porsche brakes under those wheels, iirc will hollman from PPC (practical performance magazine) has them on his ur quattro under standard rims.

Compomotive do a replica S1 wheel(16x9) so you should be able to fit 330mm discs no problems.I'm fitting 280mm discs with Porsche Boxter calipers on the rear no problems under a 15" compomotive MO but will be going for the 16x9 S1 replicas so I can fit bigger on the front.

I had 4 pot brembo calipers on my quattro when I bought it with standard alloys.

Sport quattro disc of 295x28mm will fit inside a standard wheel.

You'll need custom brackets for the calipers.

            discs

I am using 280mm discs from a Corrado modified for the Audi hole pattern and some s2 calipers at the front and 256mm Mk3 golf TDi (front) solid discs at the rear with relocated standard calipers. Amazing difference for very little outlay compared to brembo set up. Depending on year you may need the front struts from an early series 3 that come with the wider spaced monts for the S2 calipers. This does away for the need for spacers that I prefer not to use.

if i fit RS2-front brakes, will it be ok?

and one more offtop question: what's the weight of these replica wheels?

Don't know the weight of the replica wheels, best off asking Compomotive.

Not yet he doesn't as he can't make his mind up as to what bloody wheels he wants to use and the pictures are of conversions we have done btw.

but needs machining to ensure the wheel has the correct offset.
