    Ferodo DS2500 - coupe rear

Having been really impressed with the DS2500s on the front over the last 4 months I'm looking to get a set on the rear. Not sure if I need them though and the best price I've found for them is £50 here.

... right, just checked GSF and Pagid TQs are £30+vat so it seems like a bit of a no-brainer to me! Race pads for £20 more is a bit of a bargain.

Anyone know of other places to get DS2500s for the rear, I've tried Quattronics after getting the fronts for the monoblocks at a bargain price but no response thus far.

Also going to get braided hoses and a fluid flush, brakes have been a little neglected over the last year and I think it's time for some TLC!

For fluid I'm using Motul RBF600 and got it at a good price through Opie Oils

2006 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSi - goes fast

Proven products do the Ds fronts so possible that they stock or at least can access the rears. thats a great price, will be on the hunt for a pair myself

Definately for the braided rear hoses from Vagparts, i think in part why I have a little better pedal feel now.

as for fluid, i've had no problems with the Castrol Response fluid, dirt cheap and reasonable boiling point. About £4-6 per litre.

Can vouch for this - got mine following stu's recommendation. £100 inc delivery for 996 fronts.

Having looked at Opie oils I think I'll go for Castrol super as it's a bit cheaper than the Motul stuff. Just the braided hoses to go now.

Cheers, Circuit suppplies wanted £72 dleivered. Balance motorsport are £10 cheaper. However, they want £194 for Boxster S front pads! That's twice what I paid

Just ordered these for the rear and a set of new plain discs. Combined with the braided hoses I've got on order and some super4 brake fluid this should help with braking on track! Just got the fronts to overhaul when they start to wear a bit more.

Not expecting much but if they bias the brakes even slightly more to the rear then it should make the car a little more stable.

Got them and my new discs through today. Not going to be able to fit them until I'm better. Just waiting on the braided lines now.
