    Looking at Dan's specifications - its a 314mm disc turned down to 304mm. ?
If so, you could use a 5mm spacer under the caliper and use the discs full size.
Does the pad sit on the disc without any overhang on the inside or outside?
How much clearance have you got from your caliper to the inside of the wheel?
You could get a pair of SEAT brackets machined which would eliminate the spacer / disc machining issue completely, if you have room within the wheel.

Well the trouble is that I don't have the car on me at the moment so I am in no real position to be able to pop one of the wheels off and let you know.

I think I will definatly have to look into the Seat caliper idea for the future as getting discs machined all the time may prove to be a ball ache...

Espen, is that price for a pair or each brake pad? If its for a pair I shall definatly be investing.

I still haven't found anyone handy with a lathe to turn down my discs yet Dan.

Can someone clarify that these are the same for the RS2 and 968CS calipers?

Rob/Bry, yes indeed the discs on there are the A8 314mm discs turned down to 304mm, thus allowing the use of the stock RS2 carriers and the 968CS calipers to bolt on. I received two sets of discs in the brake package when I bought them, although the current discs are already the 2nd pair.

As Bry mentions, what you could do is put a 5mm spacer under the caliper which will move the caliper outwards, thus allowing you to run the A8 314mm disc without any issues (although you'll get a lip on the hub face side of the disc when it wears) - would you need to get longer bolts too though? Or you could as mentioned above machine a new set of caliper carriers. Or trash the lot and get some Cayenne monoblocks on a 365mm disc!

This is all because the RS2 was on the Porsche 5x130 hubs but with the 304mm disc, which of course you can't get for the 5x112 S2 hub. Bit of a "kludge" but it works.

Thanks for clearing that up Dan!

Could you also confirm that the DS2500 pads Espen got for his RS2 would fit in the 968CS calipers? As you can tell I am desperate to get these fitted as I haven't driven the car for 3 weeks.

Oh and don't tempt me with monster brake upgrades, it's something I'm seriously considering!!

                Hi Rob
I'm sure somewhere in here is a thread where I got advice over the correct PN for the DS2500s when I bought them originally, might need to do a bit of digging, but you'll find it.

MikeS2's site provides the essential information about the calipers Rob - but in summary, the RS2 version of the 968CS caliper has a slightly different thickness pad, goodness knows why, but since you're using the 968CS caliper, and you also have the 30mm thickness disc and not the stock 32mm, you can use either the Porsche PN pad, OR the RS2 PN pad (although this will effectively mean you're starting with less pad material).
