    Interesting big brake web site

I found this site about Porsche Mov-it disk truing.

    Mention is made of:

    1/ disk balancing and

2/ EBC green pad brake disk spotting

Im looking at these brakes now instead.

    Godspeed 335mm x 32mm 4 pot Brembo setup.

for 950 looks like a good deal to me. New discs are 145 and pads 85 from them.

I notice the Godspeed calipers are of a split design, I'm sure they are greatly improved from the old split Porsche/Brembo design.

well i hope so, brembo are quite a common fitment amongst the Seats etc nowadays too.

But they work out at about the same price as the Hi Spec setup and they're more the like Big Reds with those calipers too and dont have to have hi spec with a nike like tick up the side.

          Greg,

Habib's set up looks good, he was after £1000 for his set up, see for sale section. Genuine Big reds etc.

            Greg,

Not wanting to P*SS on your fire but the Brembos on this site are actually an older desgin than the Big Reds, before buying this kit I would make very certain what size pistons the calipers have. If they are the caliper I am thinking, you would be able to get better for cheaper.
Why not use Porsche 996 twin turbo calipers with the disc from a 993 twin turbo? You would need a custom bell making but at least you would have Monoblocks.

              Ok, will investigate that option.

              Cheers
