    996's what hoses?

I've got s set of 996 or boxster s calipers on my ABY and i need new flexible brake hoses. I have rs2 (i think) hardlines after the flexibles.

    What hoses do I use?

I seem to keep reading people getting custom braided ones made up but i have rubber on mine with no part no on them. Is there an off the shelf part for this or is custom the only way to go.

Any help would be great. I ordered some goodridge ones off VAG parts who seemed to know what they were talking about but have sent me the wrong hoses after waiting for 6 weeks and now i need a fix in the next few days and I'm f***ed.

        You could try www.speedflow.com

You will need to measure what you want and then have it made in -3 with convex male adapters to M10 x 1.5 for the clipers and abs block.

Plated BZP from the image, also as a note of caution the braid isn't covered so grit will work its way through and pierce the inner teflon. That's why Goodridge hoses come with an outer coating now.
The banjo fitting needs a 20 degree kick to stop the line straining under use, just be careful with the straight fitting.

just a word of worning after installing this type of pipe ends. once blead through and tested just go round all the pipes and recheck the tightness of the fittings on the pipes. one of the pipes i was suplyed whit my brakes leaked due to the pipe coming out of the fitting used the same style fittings when i made a replacement up and recheck after fitting and they did up a bit tighter, had no problems ever since. well not with the pipes anyway.
