  • re-drill rs2 discs

When I got my little reds (not yet fitted) they came with a pair of skimmed rs2 discs.
Is there any reason why I cant get the discs re-drilled at 112 pcd? Or will it weaken them do you think?
If so, I have a pair of rs2 discs for sale!

I see no reason why you can't slot them to 112mm PCD, would suggest doing it on a new set though, never a good plan to use secondhand brake friction parts IMO but it's up to you.

Yes, good point. depends on funds.
Am I right in thinking the RS2 calipers are 996 monoblocks???

I think OEM RS2 calipers are from a 968 Club Sport (MO30?) are are a split caliper design
        RS2+ (now sold...)

That's what I've read too. 996 Monoblocks are more reliable than the 2 piece design as used on little and big reds.

Other option on the discs is to have a set of 314s skimmed down to 304mm.
