    porsche monoblock pads best place?

in the process of gathering parts needed for conversion,so far have got:

    callipers
    discs (a8)
    mounting brackets

now need to get pads, but where from? part number TEXTAR T4045,

would anywhere local like Gsf do these? Or cheaper to go to porsche dealers?

Mintex pads used to be the ones to have and Ferodo were a poor second...funny that it is now the other way around, well at least for our cars.

That said, I still have fond memories of Mintex pads so might throw some into the monoblocks and see how they compare.

          Cheers n

I'm running textars atm and not sure what was originally on the car but the textars are average, tbh I will probably try some ds pads soon.

I've just fitted Textars from GSF. Average performance, nothing to shout about really as they're in Porsche calipers, should be a lot better. I wish I'd gone for the Ferodo DS2500 like everyone recommended but time was of the essence.

I'll be upgrading soon though because my calipers are pretty knackered so I'll swap to the Ferodo ones then!
