It is described as a "cap", the last thing in the ABS chain (from the controller). It is common to all 100's from 1981 to 1988 and all B3 and B4 80/90s to 1991 (ish) and CQs (and S2s) to 1996, as far as I can tell.

"A cap" eh? No, that is not what I'm looking for............

I need the metallic sleeves that hold the sensors into the hub. I had a bearing replaced in the hub and the machinist accidently damaged the metallic sleeve and he removed it. Now the sensor can not sit in the hub. It falls out without the sleeve.

Seems to be correct. Doesn't show in the diagram (927-00) for a ACOQ (but is in the parts list). For A10Q (UrS4), 927-00 shows the parts and the Part No's. Very common to early ABS equipped cars.

should just be a perforated copper sleeve that you put half into the hub then put the sensor into it and push in they cost pennies they should carry them in stock as they are used on whole range of audi's i got one for the S2 avant for he rear hub

              cheers Raj
