What is the TCS and how does it work?

Ma ABS unit seem to have this Traction Control System.

What is that and how does it work? I managed to get the rear left wheel spinning, and the other tree standing still. yes, was on snow. Should n`t this TCS help?

Nice! The 80 had TCS as an option well I never but it's not an S2

On snow and loose surfaces an LSD or locked diff would be required all TCS on abs would do is try and stop one well spinning by applying the brake not actually balance out power on the axle.

Skull, you are in the wrong section of the FA. A80 is FWD, not quattro. For your car you need to be in A80Q

It was fitted to some FWD cars as an option, used the ABS to slow the whichever wheel was spinning.
