My New Brembo's....

Hi,

Finally managed to land myself a pair of front calipers

They are Brembo sport monoblocks which as far as i can see are a road version of their racing calipers and were being used on a prototype vehicle. I think the pistons are either 40mm all round or 36 & 44, good for a 300 - 350m diameter disc.

Bought on ebay for £165!

Anyone know how to remove the pad retaining clips????? be damned if i can remove them but they spin...seemingly not on a thread though

The pins look like they knock out with a hammer and punch as on some girling calipers to me....

They sure did require a little tap with a hammer, there is an expandable circlip on the thick end (inner side of the caliper).

@Dave - bleedin' show orf !

Top purchase at that money sir - well done - even if custom carriers are needed. Hope these work with a standard Audi one piece disc for road use or you'll be into silly money with custom discs. Maybe the S8 or armoured A8 will work - can't remember sizes - but 323x30mm rings a bell on the 5x112 PCD pattern. Hat height might be an issue though !!!!
