ABS problem

I'm having a bit of a problem with the ABS turning its self on and off. Thinks it probably the relay so i've pulled the fuse for the time being. Should it be ok driving it with the fuse pulled out, I presume pulling it out just turns the ABS off?

I think the fuse would control other functions but i'm not sure. I had a problem with mine in that it would switch off with the diff lock switch but then not switch back on. Still not rectified but we traced it to a wheel sensor just have to drill it out now

I'm in the same position with my Coupe (non-S2) in which I have been driving around for the last couple of weeks with the fuse pulled (thought I was getting feedback from one of the sensors, so switched it off to confirm).

If it has any other effect, I haven't noticed it, and a thousand miles or so down the line, I hope I would have noticed !
