A8 year 95 brakes on S2?

I need a quick answer!

A8 front brakes, i think they are the hp2 like on the urs4.

can they be fitted on an s2? what mods needed?

The bolt spacing on the A8 with HP2 calipers is different than the S2. You would need a custom adapter bracket to fit them.

And bin the cheap copy discs as they need a skim anyway and it is nearly as cheap to get new ones.

Two years ago, I moded one Mertxe brakes in my S2.
I only make 2 supports to the calipers and cut they in two sides. Later, de 303mm discs need one "rebaje" to suport on disc.

This brakes were of a Vito or Viano V6 and the calipers have 2 pistons.

these brakes, called HP2 had been mounted to some S2´s from Hohenester, MTM and SMS. The solution of the bracket-problem had been special wheel-bearing-housings. These differ from the normal S2 wheel-bearing-housings and are really really rare.

wolfgang: yes i have seen that on meckisforum, a guy with a black coupe has them on. after reading that in a thread on meckis, i dropped the idea and will go for the rs2 small reds. (after i finish 2 ongoing projects)
