Would a 32mm thick disk fit a 996.351.425

Hi

Would a 32mm thick disk fit a 996.351.425 Porsche monoblock calliper??
The diameter is 296 mm
I can cut something from the metal pins, but do they have enough clearace for the disk's al the way up??

i have 32mm discs with the mono blocks they do fit but there is hardly any room for anti ratly shims and the squeal with out them is driving me mad. and i am have problems with the discs warping in no time at all. not sure if it is down to pads in contack all the time as it being a tight fit

Grind some off the pads to give them clearance.

I doubt it, the std disc on a 996 is 28mm putting the 30mm A8 disc on means the pins have to be pushed back and the pads are quite tight when new, so I doubt there is room to push the pistons back any further to fit a 32mm disc.

I had this set up on my Ur 295mm SQ discs with small reds (rs2) the pads overhung the disc by about 5mm, so the ideal disc size for small reds would be 305-310mm disc.

Anyone know where I can find 305-310mm and 28mm thick and Ur hat height disc??

Jaap, I think you can get away by removing some material from the caliper pins that hold the brake pads.

Perhaps you can use a 312x25 disk??
There was nothing wrong with the otherset.
I want to buy a set of 4 callipers for my uri, so then disks in same style.

Did hear, 8E0 615 301 R but i can't confirm.
I will go for a Lexus disk what is almost equal to a SQ disk but is 32mm thick
