In the search for better handling I sugested a reduction in unsprung weight, a reduction in the size of the front brake set up on S2Avant's car.............

Hopefully this will balance it out better for combe. I always felt that perhaps my brake fetish had gone a bit far

Of course it does mean my master cylinder will be safe at last

I can't believe you have done this!
That caliper looks tiny. Are you sure you haven't gone too far the wrong way?

At least you have got rid of that 'bracket on a bracket'

Just a tiny bit bigger.Sad way to get painted caliper frames Slightly re-engineered to move the wheel spacer & package it all a little neater. Not the usual "pads are getting low lets go bigger"excuse !!! More pics to follow...keep you on your toes.

Then drove it and had another mess...lowered the rear spring platforms and fitted different, bumpstops.Reset the geometry etc.Now drives sweet.

I think we'd prefer the terms pioneering or innovative but mad also covers it

They are from Autospeed Performance in the states. I don't think they make them anymore as I can't see them on their new website. I got them a while back when I did a deal for the guy who owns it. Here is their old page with some pics on it.
