Brake light showing and not the bomb eek help

HI

My barke light beeps at me x 3 at start up and on heavy braking

Checked the bomb and isnt rock solid till 52 pumps so ok ...



Not sure what it can be and obviously concerned so

Help please as to what and will start searching the threads

Will check the fluid levels at the garage around the corner and hope that is it . have audi mineral at home ...

Yep, i think that warning lamb can be either a pressure warning or just a low level fluid warning.

How the clutch cylinder bleed go?

Not much else you can do, but take it steady. The heavy braking thing is probably levels. Don't forget to check your hydraulic fluid AND the Brake fluid, they both throw the (!) sign...

52 pumps is the good news...

whilst on the subject of the warning lamp... i had been getting this on start up last few weeks and yet the levels and brake pressure was fine.

had a slight weepy leak from the power steering pump top screw, but fixed that today with a new 'o' ring and the warning lamp has not appeared again.

could the slight leak have been letting air into, or pressure to be released from the system and hence the warning light?

Good news ..

topped up the master and checked hydraulic ...

No More light and all good ...



Bad news ... rear caliper sticking .... checked them and they are looking totally Knackered..

Anyone have a set stashed in the garage ?
