colleauge of mine from over the pond just sent me these pics of some brakes he's been installing on some of his & customers road cars. They're 15" grooved (14 on rear) with 2 piece rotors and a massive 8 piston calliper. They're taken directly from ALMS series race cars (RS6 / M3 etc..). How badass can you get, if these things won't stop you NOTHING will..
whats the overall verdict on the 8 pots from those that have them fitted i.e. bo and s2avant (i'll ask you james once your car moves quick enough to use them, tho it ain't your fault your held up )
what master brake cylinder do you use with that setup Bo? I was told that the original one can't handle more than 6 pot callipers.
On s2avants s2 he uses a standard master cylinder.I can vouch for the fact that the pedal feels spot on.No extra pedal travel, superb feel/bite,LESS pedal effort & absolutly NO fade.(8 laps of castle coombe,we wern't hangin around)They are awsome coupled with the uprated rears.

those race spec brembos are seriously luuuurvely, however they dont have road spec dust seals so may well end up needing some extra tlc. Having said that, the pistons are seriously funky ensuring pad heat isn't transferred thermally to the brake fluid, something road going ones don't normally have.
Having been round the Ring in Pete's S4 (Orificer Casey's mate...) I can confirm the 8 pot RS6 ones are seriously good
You need a custom made bracket, you can use a 375mm floating disk with them. iirc also RS6. The hat needs to be bell shaped and not flat like terrybullwon found when he bought his kit.
RS2 hardlines also work but otherwise you can use RS6 flexi lines and use a male - male adapter to join them to the brake lines.
Well, i also use 8pod calipers on my RS2.
Everything i have in the car is custom made...
This is the bracket and my rotor.
This is how our brackets look like (TÜV Approved)

I love the 4pod caliper 322x32 from the RS2, but you could never imagine how big the difference is between the Porsche 993T 322x32 4pod and the 8pod RS4/R8 Brake. I use the 8pod now in all of our cars, beginning from the old TT to the new TT in all S2 and RS2. The last Project was the Ceramic Brake on a very very strong RS2:
