half the price of a new joint!

anyway - good luck, BE CAREFUL!

No the hole type are a gentle press fit with a dab of loctite if need be, it's only the toothed type that need to be heated up and pressed on.

Just as an update, i got the ring today and fitted it, it's nice snug press fit which i carefully drifted on with a copper faced hammer, doing a little bit at a time. So far so good no boing from the abs and abs light out and all codes cleared.

It would still drop even easier if you heated it up before fitting. although as you say you dont have to.
