  • Porsche part numbers voor RS2 calipers needed

    Hello All,

I have been searching the forum for Porsche partnumbers for the RS2-front calipers.
Could find the number for the 996-monoblocks but not for the RS2 ones (i Think 968CS is the same)

    any body have the numbers?

I need them to get info on repairkit(s)
As you know I have the screaming brakes while driving (not braking) meanwhile the discs get steaming hot and it has become unbearable...
I think the pistons are not moving correctly, therefore jamming the pads causing the heat & sound.
I want to take the calipers of, put the original stuff back in. After that I want to do a revision on the calipers and remount them, hopefully them the noise is gone....

So numbers needed to enquire @ porsche service point

are they the standard rs2 calipers or the up grade bigger brakes (big reds) that also was fitted to the rs2
never set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointed

I think they are the "small" ones. I am running them on A8 rotors under 16" Avus.
I don't the big ones fit underthere

If you are running the smaller 304mm disc then you would need standard 993 front calipers (non-turbo).

The larger 322mm disc upgrade disc on the RS2 requires the 993 bi-turbo caliper.
