RS2 Brake ducting, how do they work?

About to start experimenting on ducting for the brakes. Had a look at the RS2 ducts and can't quite see how they work. I know there is an air guide that attaches to the wishbone or something, but where does it get it's supply? Are there inlets on the bumper or are those after market mods? What route does the air take to get to the guides on the hub?

From what I can tell they they don't seem to have any supply from the bumper and just pick up air from underneath the car. Is that right?

They only fit cast wishbones & they use one of the balljoint bolts to fix them on.No real ducting they just hang down under the car catching the air and bunny rabbits !! We have been looking at fitting pheaton back plates & bunny catchers on bens as it runs pheaton discs. This being a common upgrade on rs6s

      Just to add a little......

These use a spring washer and nut too attach the duct to the forward most stud on the ball joint. It is held at the other end of the duct with a zip/pull tie. Nothing fancy here.

That's what I thought, cheers mate

I've ordered some bits from Merlin so I can hopefully bodge up some proper ducting from the bumper. I was thinking of using RS2 bits but wasn't sure if it got it's supply from a proper bumper feed that I could use.
