    Some questions about brake upgrades

    Hi

First: sorry for my bad english

    Second:

Is time to upgrade my brakes, my car begins to brake really bad with this power

    - I have a 16" wheels with an interior of 380mms
    - I think about the 322x32 RS2 discs with their calipers
    - But I learn in the forum about the 314 discs of the A8 and the 323 discs of the S8
    - Are the 314 discs compatibles with the RS2 322 calipers?
    - Any other calipers compatibles with the S2?
    - With the 380mms of wheel interior...any other options?

    Thanks

          312x25mm discs (Audi A6 avant 3.0 quattro 01-05)

and you'll need an adapter to fit the calipers of course

You might need 17 inch wheels for the RS2 brake setup - that's certainly suggested over at the S2Central brake section. Take into account running costs too: RS2 calipers will suffer from plate lift at some point and you'll have to get them stripped down and rebuilt; even with good people on the forum it's money. Might be better to get something which doesn't have the plates in the first place - 996 calipers maybe.

            Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

                Thanks for all the info

Because the ET of my wheels I won't need wheel spacers to mount the RS2 "big calipers"

                One question more

                - S8 323 discs are compatibles with RS2 "big calipers"? And with the 996 calipers?

If are compatibles probably I buy the calipers of gavs20v and the S8 discs

                Regards
