    Banjo Bolts

My new Goodrich hoses arived the other day and I have a problem, I've never used banjo fittings before but it looks like they rely on the copper washers to make the seal, but my callipers have some pitting around the thread area.
This isnt a problem with hard line fittings as they rely on the break line to mushroom over and make the seal it's self.
So what are my options, is there another fitting that I can simply screw into the hole in place of the banjo or do I have to get my callipers machined / skimmed flat and the banjo bolt as this will then hit the bottom of the hole,
or have I just got the wrong bolt alltogether because at the moment this bolt doesn't seat at the base of the hole and fluid is pushing past the threads.

I had the same issue so just used the normal m10x1 convex male union to screw straight into caliper instead of using the banjo method.

you could try using dowty washers in stead of the copper washers any hydraulic hose place like pirtec would stock a desent selection.
never set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointed
