Upgrade to RS2 brakes

Hi, just a quick question, do the standard RS2 discs/calipers fit in my standard 16in wheels? (Sorry i know it's probably been asked a million times before.)

I may have the chance to buy a full set of discs/calipers at a very reasonable price. Looks like it would be a tight squeeze.. If anyone could tell me that would be great as I don't really have time to swap them over to try out the size before buying.

I'm not too keen on getting bigger wheels, obviously due to the extra costs but moreover because I like to keep my car looking as standard as possible...

Firstly they don't fit (the PCD is incorrect on the discs), secondly the RS2 brakes are tosh anyway. You'd be much better off with a 996 upgrade which has been tried and tested.

Thanks for that. It was only really 'cos I would have got them cheap... Ah well. If I ever do upgrade the brakes I'll look into the 996 option. I take it these defo need bigger wheels? Thanks again.

16's can clear the 996 small setups.
the 996 gt2 6 pots require 17" minimum ideally 18"

if you want,i have a perfect discs + calipers + pads ( 85% good condition) + brakets ALL plugg/play for our cars with the 16" oem rims...


it comes from Mercedes Vito, 304x30 discs. and ALL discs,calipers,pads and brakets are in Perfect condition
