Braided hose specifications for the S2 please.

I phoned Goodrich hoses today to order a set of hoses for my Coupe Quattro 20V. I am doing a big brake conversion and wanted the rear hoses and the two top fronts.

    They don't have any specifications!!!

Has anyone got details of the hose length and dimensions please?
They know the seat angles etc.

I will be making new hard lines down to the Porsche calipers like the RS2.

    Thanks in anticipation.

    David,

don't know about the rears, but the top lines are specced in this pic:

(the other hoses (with rt/angled joints) were for joining the caliper, but still a couple of cm too long)
Part numbers are for plated connectors not SS.

Thanks for the info, I was just trying to do a direct order. They have a 3 week waiting time and I didn't want my car out of action all that time!

Corey knows what hoses to order (they are on my car now, front and back, braided s/steel) - send him a PM. I think they are about £35 for fronts and backs, total? Something like that.

Leon TDI 150 run in now.

            Very slow.

            Needs a chip.

Bleh just checked the list of prices again (thought it seemed cheap after typing then reading) - £30 for backs on their own! Bleh. Sorry. Should have checked/triple checked etc first. PM Corey anyway - he can tell you how much etc. Group/Quantity buy discount? *shrug*

                Where's that... oh, there

I bought a set for my CQ20v, part number on box is GDRSAU0303-4P, label says "Audi 90 S2 2.3 20v plated"

The kit is rubbish to be honest as the front strut has two brake lines, one from the wheel arch to strut, and the other from strut to caliper. Middle piece is a section of metal pipe. The kit only gives you four hoses , two rear, and two front. Front pipe is about 9.5" long, same connection each end. Dont know the name for them, but the type for screwing a metal pipe into them. So i think it can only fit from wheel arch to strut. Not 100% as i havent actually fittem them yet.

Demon Tweeks managed to order them for me, I originally bought GDRSAU0304-4P, "2,3 quattro 89-91" which didint fit, strange as mines a 91 2.3 Quattro. I assume the kits for the 2.3 10v car, where as the 20v is the same as an S2 from what i can tell. From memory the front was one long hose.

I used the PDF file from the goodridge website to get the part no's.

                    Mark.

I want two for the front and two for the rear as I have different calipers.

The description is Series II and Not S2. which makes a difference.

I will have to do some work.
                      Thanks for your help everyone.
