    help needed with wheel bolt length

    Does anyone know where I can get extended length wheel bolts for my 1995 urS6?

    I have the S6+ wheels and am fitting some AP Racing 6-pot brakes. The brakes fit fine, but with the thickness of the rotors, the standard wheel bolts (thread length = 27mm) now don't seem quite long enough to be safe.

    Would appreciate any advice on where to source longer (32 - 35mm thread length) bolts. I live in London.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Tom: Any aftermarket parts dealer with access to H & R (the spring and spacer people) products should be able to help you. H & R has the longer bolts. Make sure you get the ones with the "ball" end rather than the conical end.

      Thanks.

      By the 'ball end' do you mean a Radius Seat? I believe the conical ones are known as a Tapered Seat...

        There is a guy selling them on ebay at the moment, 40mm and 50mm versions.

          Yes. We speak all different like over here on this side of the "pond".

          Wrench = spanner
          Hood = bonnet
          Fender = Wing
          Flashlight = torch
          Elevator = lift
          Beer = beer !!
