A90TURBO: on your car you now have (or should have) cv joints with 30 teeth on the axles and 33 teeth in the hub. so you have the small bearing housings with 75mm bearings.
Once i make a start on it ill deffo be pm'n people just dont want to start right now as ive got a few other bits to do first. My mate also works at a local breakers and he can sort some parts also.
Onca again guys thanks for the replys, i thought this was going to be a quiet forum from the lack of replys i had to my HELLO post lol
Dunno for the A4 hubs, it may be a waste of money. I went trough the 5x112 conversion, spent tons of money, but i can say that was the best mistake i have ever made.
In my 20v NM-engined 90q the transmission code was AKU, and it had the "small" (100mm) flanges. I think that the 2.3 20v (7a) has the same gearbox, so small flanges there also. I swapped the ARV box from an S2, because the original box had bad syncros 2. gear. One thing to note that the "big flange" drive shafts use M10 bolts as the small flange use M8 at the inner end.
I used S2 hubs all around the car. At rear I used calipers from Audi 200 20v avant, which I presume are the same as UrS4 and A3 front disc which had to be machined down to 270mm in diameter, enlarge the centre hole and drill a new bolt pattern... But the offset is correct! Front brakes are a bolt-on set with a8 discs, baby brembos and custom carriers.
The S2 gear ratios are too long for the stock torqueless NM engine, but with more power quite ok except the change from 2 -> 3 is too long IMO.
