    Seat Leon Cupra R brackets

    I have done a search and found lots of info, including the dims of the brackets etc. but i have found some sets on a well know auction site, that states they can be used for fitting 996 calipers;

    the add says
    "adapters to allow fitment of Porsche 996 / Boxter s / Brembo brake calipers utilising the standard VAG 5 X 100 PCD 312mm discs

    VW GOLF/BORA IV - Audi A3/TT 1.8T - Seat leon 1.8T- Skoda VRS"

    would these be the same as the brackets needed to fit (with the same modifications that are made to the genuine Seat ones PN. 6KL 615 421) the 996 calipers to the s2?

    the advert doesnt have any dims on it, but surely if you can use these on the seat leon 1.8T to mount the 996 calipers they are the same?

      Why not see what s2martyn wants for his custom brackets, nice bits of kit and at least you know it will be right.

          Wrong offset, as in the same wrong offset that the seat ones are that need trimming down
