Still more differing opinions!
I cant for the life of me see WHAT damage can occur to the torsen.
The whole idea of the differential speed gear ( that is its complete name) on any car, 2wd 0r 4wd, is to allow the wheels to turn at different speeds without causing damage!
This allows the car to go round corners!!!
There may be some questions arise with some of the newer cars that utilise viscouse couplings etc but a wholly ( wholey?) mechanical system I cant see in what way this COULD be damaged? Perhaps somebody could enlighten me as to what component inside the differential will actually break & WHY?
No urban myths please just hard mechanical facts.
