    Eicher discs from ECP

anyone got any experience of them?

They are cheap at £17 each but is the price too good to be true?

also anyone ever used a sbs disc from them? seems I can get front/rear discs for the ur quattro for around £80. Its either that or putting the porsche callipers on the front which would need new discs to match and brackets and hoping they fit under the fusch alloys.

I'm always a bit cautious with brake brands. Cheap prices usually means cheaper materials, processes etc... Or maybe they are fine but cost of manufacture is so much cheaper.

I generally go for ATE discs and pads all the way - only a bit more expensive from ECP than elcheapo brands - but you know the quality is tip top. Brands like Brembo, Ferodo & Pagid are also on my good list, but they never come into budget category.

I've got Eicher A8 discs - not had any problems with them, yes they're cheap but they also work!

                eicher discs

i've got eicher discs on the back of one of my coupes. they seem to stop the car ok so you can't complain for £17. haven't tried fronts though.

For the rears there isn't a big difference as ATE are only £26 against £17 for the Eicher. It's on the fronts where the price difference gets significant.
