RS2 front brake hardlines - stealer only?

Need a set of the hardlines for my RS2 front brakes, are these available from a stealership only or does anyone else sell them?

    thx

I made some once. It's very easy to do and costs a matter of pence.

Or if you dont have or dont want to buy the tools do flare the ends, just take the old one off and take it to any local garage, ie not a dealership. They will make it for you for a couple of quid. I did this when I had to replace a length on my coupe, to the rear brakes. If i recall it was a fiver for just over a meter.

I was going the braided route, only to find the goodridge kit still needs the hardlines on the front....will make some enquiries on extending the goodridge lines to the caliper, otherwise I'll give you a shout Error404 on your generous offer.

I found I could get custom lines made up for the same price as the goodridge kits and I didn't need hardlines.

The goodridge kit replaces the hardline to the calipers, your thinking of the hard lines that are further in the chain, leave these in, the main ones to change are the ones that go round the strut to the calipers

I thought this kit would replace the hard lines (to the caliper) also, but when you line up the parts there is no way to join the pipes together (male-male connectors needed).

So my brother and I came to the conclusion the kit only replaces the one rubber hose on the front from the caliper hardline to the inner body hardline, and the other 4 lines in the kit are for the rear calipers.... Although I can't access the rear of the car to see for myself..

That's because the connectors are on the car

If you're only replacing the single rubber hose on the front...I had expected the kit to replace the hard lines too. Obviously this is not the case so I'll have to replace those now (mine were knackered and can't be reused) or extend the braided hoses down to the calipers as mentioned in an earlier post.

There are two flexi lines on each side at the front - one from body to strut and one from strut to caliper

The male > male connection between the two flexi lines is the hardline around the strut.

If you get me a measurement of the length and i'll make you a pair

There is only one flexiline on my RS2, from body to strut...from there it's hardline to the caliper (one piece metal tube, no joins).
