Replacing RS2 Calipers

I'm looking for a bit of advice and clarification after reading through threads and threads of brake upgrades.

Basically I have an RS2 and the calipers have suffered the usual corrosion. I'm looking to replace calipers, discs and pads on both front and rear. I'm not too fussed about big upgrades but I don't want to suffer with the usual RS2 related braking noise and corrosion issues again.

What I need to know is, what's the easiest way for me to get a new set of calipers, discs and pads on my car without using the stock calipers which seem impossible to get anyway.

If anyone could give me the following info with part numbers I'd be very grateful

Which calipers, front and rear
Which discs front and rear
Which pads front and rear
Any other parts I'll need for the conversion.

Also would the handbrake still work ok with whatever upgrade you recommend?

I suggest you speak to a helpful fella called Bruno on the forum, he sells caliper mounts which let you use 996 monoblocks front and rear on the RS2

i reckon you should upgrade to Big Red GT3 calipers for the front,i know they're quite hard to get hold of.but i can assure you it will be the best upgrade for your car.

Nik (Nikmay) had a pair of big red fronts for sale on the for sale section and a scotish member (cant recall his name) had some rears...buy them and send them to GT500 (Rob) fit them with new discs and pads all round...sorted
