Sounds like ABS is working when stationary?

Hi gents, as described. My coupe sounds like the ABS is working with the car stationary, if i press the pedal it feels like the ABS is working. Set off and drive 200 metres "Brake" warning appears. Just fitted a new pump from Pete at Quattro Corner. Bomb maybe? My brakes feel like i have then loose assistance, almost lumpy for want of a better description. I have the 996 conversion fitted. Any ideas gents?

Faulty ABS sensor or badly corroded ABS ring?

Mentioned that to my mechanic but he thinks it wouldnt act that way when sat still? Would a faulty sensor not bring the ABS light on? Mine doesnt come on.

Did you replace the ABS pump or PAS pump?

If the system was depressurised or dry you can get that until the bomb has fully pressurised again. Just drive it around for 10mins or so and it should go away. If it doesn’t the bombs knackered.

Is there an average "life" to the bombs? Pete to the rescue again, by the looks of it!
