    Type 85 HEL braided hoses?

I wanted to fit some HEL steel braided brake hoses to my type 85 coupe quattro, but when i looked at the pictures of them, and look at the original standard lines on my car, the ends where they connect look nothing like each other.

I've never had stainless steel braided hoses fitted to a car before, so I don't know how they are suppose to be installed. Are they suppose to be like that? or does something else need to be modified on the car to get them to fit?

Sorry if I sound stupid, i'm a bit ignorant in this subject.

The ends will be a standard sized fitting (normally 10mm x1mm thread) so they will screw on fine. You can make them up yourself if your technically able but with brakes being somewhat critical, go with ready made

excellent.. I have another question tho.

I've been trying to get in contact with HEL with out success. I wanted to make sure I knew what brake lines to order off there site, as the 'type 85 coupe quattro' isn't 'specifically' mentioned in there list. (well i can't see it anyway)

Can someone tell me what kit on there list 'IS' the right one for my car? or at least one that will be identical in fitment to whats fitted to my car? .

Need to know ASAP.. as my car is off the road and i need it sorted before the snow falls if possible.

      Heres there website/list: http://helcarkits.co.uk/index.php?ma...&filter_id=228

Is it this one?? : http://helcarkits.co.uk/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1771
