We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Yes I have seen your upgrade but if you want to use some "sport" pads like ferrodo DS2500 or yellow pagid I'm not sure that there are available (I don't have made a research if it exists...)
And it is just 2 pistons calipers... but I agree it is a possible upgrade for the 16" 3b rims

Andy10V -> sorry but I don't understand your answer...
Sorry just observing that this thread indicates that the porsche setup with 314 callipers would clear 3b wheels with a spacer, I previously understood that 314s with porsche calipers would not fit at all and the aby 6 spoke avus wheels were needed.
ah ok Andy10V but in the thread you have given the link nobody has really upgraded in 996 calipers with the 16" 3b rims... (pictures or own experience)
May I suggest that to move this thread on from where we are right now, that one of you guys that has a 5 spoke speedline alloy wheel actually take some measurements...
1, The inside diameter of the alloy nearest the spokes..
2, The inside diameter of the alloy at the outer rim..
This will help to find out what the taper is of the actual alloy wheel...
I can then compare this to the 16" avus as I still have one that I can measure to see what the difference is...
I personally cant see why the 986 front calipers would not fit inside these wheels when they will fit inside the 15" UR alloys... But I am assuming that the mounting on the UR strut is the same as the S2 Strut... I know the caliper mounting holes are the same...
The 986 Calipers are much thinner than the 996 Fronts, so any clearance issue wold be sorted by that issue straight away..
As I have a set of both 986 & 996 fronts I will take some measurements tomorrow just to see what the difference is...
