Have thought many times about hydralic handbrake or another caliper for the handbrake for using heavy calipers for rear setup, but easiest route for me will be to use stock calipers and handbrake, just using a adapter with bigger discs....
As im after same as rst, a more cosmetic look...Leave a comment:

This upgrade based on S4 b5 and A8, this should also work on UrS4 and UrS6. S4 b5 has the same size disc 269x20. May car rear disc are quite worn so in the next couple of months i'll try to upgrade the rear brakes. I really dont need more braking power in the rear but 269mm disc look so small behind 18" wheels. This upgrade is more like a cosmetic one.

Ok, that's quite heavy modification. Maybe you need some adjustable valve for the rear brakes so they are not too efective..? We was just talking about to put a bigger rear disc and use the stock caliper with a adapter. Also the stock handbrake works with this solution.Leave a comment:

yup,I'm the one who looking to upgrade the rear brake. only one issue is the e-brake.there's a few solutions for these.I know the local guys who is my friend done the e-brake on UrS4.he uses another separated master cylinder for e-brake.that car is running with Rear 986 Boxtser calipers.I'm going to do the rear brake upgraded on my car too.Currently,I have 353X34mm on the front with huge Cayenne calipers.I'm looking RS6 rear rotors if they're affordable or another solution is I have
brand new Rotor 348X30mm laying for year,I might be needing it to be resized down a bit and using the Rear cayenne calipers.Get them for customed center hubs(I need to measure the overall heights. If they are similar/closed to the stock,i'm sure i can make them working out),customed brackets,
About the e-brake,Just using e-brake from Brembo.I have all of parts(Calipers,discs,e-brake calipers) but Times.Leave a comment:

Thuppu, no problem have more important things to fix myself but in the summer or fall that sounds like a deal...
I really don´t know, anything that fits don´t know the different in using 312x22x45 or 310x22x42,2 if the cheaper fits with any adapter then the cheaper it is
Then maybe I can use 360x34mm from an A8 and my Cayenne calipers in the front... will be awsome...Leave a comment:

Propably I don't have time before I get my project running, but later, in the summer it can be possible.
What disc do you prefer? 310x22x42,2mm? These are quite cheap. http://www.ebay.de/itm/AUDI-A8-4E-hi...item43ad2f701c

Thuppu; your a handy man, can´t you make some brackets? Don´t really need any bigger rear brakes but want to fill some empty space in my 19" wheels
will not look allright when installing Cayenne calipers with big disc in front

Did anyone sort anything out with this? 650 euros for 2 discs and 2 adapters is a sick price at Ultimot.de (i understand that they want to earn money but still) any change anyone else has a better plan?
This sounded good, but whats needed? a real adapter i guess so you can move the caliper as the disc is bigger then stock 269mm...
"Instead of the 312x22x45mm discs its possible to take the cheaper 310x22x42,4 discs (Audi 4E0 615 601 K or A, or OEM discs). You need shims (?), spacer pieces for the caliper brackets."Leave a comment:
