Maximum Disc width for 18ZL Calipers?

As my project 90 is looking a little more 'long term' than I had hoped, I got myself a little A4 to mess about with and do a few trackdays in.
It came with some pittiful brakes and is screaming for an upgrade.
I have tried to order a brake kit for it from several companies only to get lead times stretching for months or calls mot returned.
I had a route round my mates stores and came up with these:

Pictured alongside a standard 1.8t disc, 356mm x 37mm, ex works Audi A4 AP fully floating. He had other touring car discs well over 400mm, but I thought that these would be big enough for now. lol
My question is, is the throat on a Cayenne 18ZL caliper big enough to accomodate a 37mm wide disc?

    Thanks in advance.

    Paul.

Spent most of this morning on the phone trying to get a pair of calipers to suit 37mm discs. Everyone I have tried is saying the maximum they cover is 32mm
    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhghhhh!!!!
I could probably find a company to make a pair but the cost would be more than I paid for the car! lol.

Anyone got any bright ideas as it seems a shame to waste the discs especially as I have access to more for spares?

    Paul.

      Hi Paul,
Wilwood STR6 Radial Mount Caliper will fit, but take a seat before you look at the price, and maybe call a cardiac ambulance in advance of the heart attack you will get

Sell the Porsche Calipers and Buy RS4 B7 calipers, I know these can take 36mm so maybe o.k with 37mm

in worst case, just skim down the pads 0.5mm on each pad..

2009 Cayenne Turbo 4.8L 19ZL,19ZR Calipers equipped with 364X36mm as stock. ~1mm thicker on the rotor ain't problem on this calipers.
            2002 8pistons calipers from E55,SL55 AMG can match 37-38mm rotors thickness.(stock discs are 360X32mm).

              Thanks for all the replies.

I stumbled upon some Alcon 6 pot calipers that were ideal for 350 to 400mm discs with a wide enough throat to take my AP discs.

They turned up today. I ordered two sets. One for my A4 and a set for my 90 S2. I have some 380mm disc for the 90, but I think I would have to run 19" rims to fit them.

The pics below are of the disc and Caliper combo dummied up behind the A4's 18" wheel.

I'm very pleased with the look, just hope they work as well when fitted!
