Anyone have any ideas on the following:-
70+ mph slowing for a roundabout, when some w***er who did not have any indicators caused me to "jam on" quite hard. Anyhow, a couple of miles down the road I could have sworn the Tranny van in front of me had it's handbrake on by the smell of burning pads (I had no noticable loss of speed / acceleration!)
However seems it was my pads; my rear calipers are now binding - badly!
Front disks warm, rears to hot to touch. (standard S2 brakes)
Any ideas what could bring it on this quickly? I can understand a rusty caliper/collapsed hose, warping, etc on one side over a period of time. But both sides at the same time?
(I can rock/push the car back and forth no problem with one hand on an alloy "spoke" and cant hear or feel any binding/sticking either when disks are either hot or cold)
