    UFO's

As some of you know, i have bought a UrS4, which is still on the UFO front brake set up.

I've driven the car and they are quite warped, i understand that they are prone to this?

When i break the S6 saloon i have i will probably put the HP2 set up on it, but for the time being, does anyone know a place to get them at a decent price?

I have a set of the pads laying around but not sure where to get the discs, depending how bad they are, is it possible to skim the discs?

I'm no longer on the ufos thanks to a Cayenne conversion but I remember reading somewhere at the time that you could attempt to fix the warping by hard breaking at speed (60mph+). I seem to remember doing this but I can't remember how well it worked!

They are a small fortune, £250 each i think. They can be skimmed if you have the correct tooling for your lathe.
I wouldnt bother Rich, get those hp2's on asap.

you can expect to get proper greased if you want to replace - I have parted with a fair bit of cash in the past to replace discs and pads. When Hoffer and I replaced it with the HP2 stuff - we were amazed to see that the UFO calipers had only been presenting half of the surface down and were being pushed against the disc by only 50% of the pad. No wonder they have poor performance. Get shot of them and get the Cayenne's on and your world will be a different place (i.e. scary but in the way you want it).

Ha Ha, cheers Damian. I might be paying a visit down your way to see Rich if i get no further with HMS S6

I will put the HP2's off the S6 i'm breaking but may not have them until after christmas, so may put some discs on it for time being - davmac in nottingham have told me £57 each!
