Time to try and get my head round this to try and solve my bomb recharging issue

Managed to drain 0.5 litres of fluid out of the low pressure system (reservoir, pipes) and replaced with new. The fluid wasn't too bad but it was certainly used and going grey. This seems to have solved some of the issue, at least enough for it to start working! I'll need to get it all flushed through a few times with a couple of litres of LHM. Any BTDTs?

yup.

drain reservoir
take the outlet and return pipers off the reservoir
put the return pipe into an oil pan or bottle etc.
put funnel into oulet line to pump and elevate above pump
Idle car wilst filling funnel until clean fluid comes out of reservoir return hose

I used a pressure bleeder las time and blanked off one of the plugs, it worked quite well

Will clean the system up when I get a chance, it's working at the mo tho so I'm happier.
