    funny feeling brake pedal

hi everyone, i have a funny feeling brake pedal!! i have only got to rest my foot on the pedal and can feel it through my foot as it is pumping on and off as u would feel as the ABS is going off, and does not change if i push harder on the pedal?? the pedal is very hard and dont think i have got full braking power and have got the brake warning simball on the dash from start up! Anyone got any ideas or test i could do??
    cheers tom

looks like the pressure accumulator is about to be going out, or dead already. (brake bomb). Custom autocrafts has spares at a good price.

        you think?
i get that feeling on my pedal when i turn the engine on for the first time, until pressure is build up, (not always) and my servo is brand new!

yep mine does that when i first pull away which i think is absolutely fine...basically the system building up to full working pressure, usually with a small noise

              you think?
i thought that was abnormal!!! if so, then i may not need a new bomb afterall, but i dont remember having that in the past.

Servo. Change the fluid in the system, might help, as it did on mine. Bomb test is on s2central

bomb test with the s2central technique gives me about 5-7 presses. so that is low.

i may change the bomb after a complete caliper overhaul and rebleed.
