    what calipers have i got?

is there any way of telling which calipers i have on my car without taking them off and checking the numbers.

ive got a porshe upgrade on there and need some new pads as there down to the metal and gunna go for new discs aswell, but i dont know if i have the 314mm, 323mm or 330mm discs, and which porsche pads it is i need.

if anyone knows how to tell them apart that would be much appreciated because i really dont want to take of the wheels because im lazy!!

also any suggetions on which discs and pads are best would be really helpful.

    cheers

I'm sure you can read the part numbers without taking them off , you probably have 996 (boxter s) callipers , that's the usual upgrade as for disk you can just measure them with a rule or tape measure ,the disks used will depend on wheel size and adaptor brackets used , if you have 16 inch wheels they are going to be 314 mm S8 disks most likely.

The most popular pad is the Ferodo DS2500

    hope this helps
