brake servo?

I`m going to change brake servo, can I do it without disconnecting brake line ?

May be a bit tight, master cylinder has to come out quite a bit to clear the servo, quite easy to fracture the pipes. I personally would disconnect the lines.

is this an easy job and is there any sense in changing to a later model/alternative servo unit to increase the feel and assistance on the s2?
