If I gave the impression of a bit of a rant there I completely apologise, have had a complete dogs ar*e of a week - thank goodness it's the weekend! Got the Ferrodos on the front today so will see how she fares with DS2500s at the front, and EBC Greens on the back!
Cold bite is a definite improvement, as is pedal feel generally. I've not braked in anger yet so can't comment on ultimate stopping power as still bedding in, but it's a completely different braking experience vs. EBC Reds. Amazing what a difference a pad makes

I remember when i took the car for a test drive and Al jammed on the breaks, nearly got whip lash!!!
They certainly seem to be the right stuff. I'm going on a bit of a cross-country blat this Sunday, so we'll give them a nice work out and see how they fare!

Looks like Ferodo do a DS2500 for the stock rear too - the FDS596 pad seems to be a common fitment across the Audi 80/Coupe of our era, is that the right one?
