Im planning to install a S8 discs and 996turbo front calipers, I just want to know if Ill be able to use my original Avus 7.5 x 16 inch wheels... Do i need to buy spacers? or new 17 inch wheels?

HI Fernando,please forget it and buy my S8 mk2 wheels with almost new rubbers + my current rs4 b7 8 pot brakes with everything needed and 365 x34 floating discs.

It depends on the brackets & discs you use, the 323mm A8 setup requires 17" wheels but the smaller 318mm discs and appropriate brackets fit under the 16" Avus. Bambridge on here sells the brackets.

I already bought the discs and calipers with the adapter... Im planning to install them in the next 2 weeks. So Im asking to avoid surprises. I have 5 new 17 inch ultraleggeras waiting to be used, but I dont have more money for rubbers... so I was trying to extend the use of my 16 inch avus for a while.

If you use 996+rs2 bracket 16inch wheels will meet calipers at some point at heavy braking as I found out, but if you use 10-15mm spacer they will be ok.

You Cant Use Rs2 Brackets With Big Red As The Radial Mount Is Different Between The Holes .
Rs2 Bracket 130mm Ish
Big Red From Gt3 Or Turbo Cars Are 143mm Ish
If You Have 425/426 Monoblocks Then You Can Use The Rs2 Bracket

what size discs/brackets have you got?

I have 996/a8 314mm discs and bambridge 314 brackets, they fit under my ABY s2 16" wheels (very close), but not the 3b 16" wheels (apparently fits with spacers).

I understand the 323 will not fit under 16s

Damn, I have the 429/430 Big reds from a GT3 with 323mm S8 disc... so no way to use the ABY AVUS 16 inch wheels?

No they wont fit!! You will need your 17" but that might even be a squeeze!!

You may need spacers but you will have to fit them to find out!

No chance, 17" rims mininimum

On the RS2 hubs they fit with 330mm discs no problems with 17" alloys

On S2 hubs will be the same just different PCD and hat height of discs
