996 Gt3 pad retaining pin

The pad retaining pin on the 996 Gt3 calipers do you have to trim it down the same as the boxster ones?

Yes, I had to on my GT3 setup

Do it till it clears your setup, I run RS2 hubs so it would be different

I thought this was only done to add clearance on the 425/426 setup for the 30mm dics as they are supposed to run 28mm discs on the Porsche?
Depending on what size discs you are running it should not be essential

You would think so but I had to to clear 330x32 as said clear to fit the setup on your car, I was told I wouldn't but we had to in the end as it was too close

I have bought S8 323mm x 30mm and they are bloody heavy. they are heavier than my sons Rs4 discs albeit he has ally bells.
