Are there no posts with photos of the RS2 rear brakes, showing the emergency brake system with the mini-brake shoes that fit inside the hub of the rear RS2 disk? I wanted to show somebody how the RS2 brake system works but I could not find any posts here to do so. Maybe I missed a key word but I have looked more than once. Seems strange.
Anybody?

is it really that bad jamo? i like having a good handbrake so dont want to bolt all the rs2 bits up if it can be made better, i was even considering going hydraulic handbrake but still retain the original rs2 setup for mot time
do the porsche owners with the same setup have the same problems?

Put it this way, i've been looking into a seperate handbrake caliper
"RS2 handbrake" and the word “work" in the same sentence is a bit of an oxymoron for me.
It was one of the main the reasons I changed my spare S2 back from 5 x 130 RS2 hubs to 5 x 112 S2 hubs to have a decent handbrake. The previous owner had had then changed to RS2 spec, presumably at great expense.
While presumably the RS2 handbrake can be go to work, the S2 caliper set up is much more reliable long term.
A good handbrake is so sweet after not having any handbrake in a car for a while.
