Yes, but while I went back to S2 5 x 112 hubs I went to Porsche front calipers on 323mm discs, and B5 S4 rear brake set up of 300mm, so works ok for a road car.

        I quote this!

The hand brake of the RS2 it's defenetely NOT an emergency brake system.

        I tried everything on mine:

New discs/drums new pads new cables lubed/greased every connection on the line bias/registered everything to the finest point.

The result it's still a (not good) parking brake as long you avoid to park too uphill, in this case a brick will do a better job (believe me I've used this!)
This "system" gives me trouble everytime a go for what you call MOT.
On the other side the Cabriolet of my miss it's fantastic you trigger three teeth on the handle and it's solid like a rock, rock that again you need to put under the RS2 wheels if you park uphill!

Its hard to test resistance when adjusting the rear shoes against the drums because of the drag from the 4x4 system, but if you get it right there good wrong and there a waste of time. Also the adjuster for the shoes sizes in its housing so that dont help.
