audi urs6 calipers.

Today fitting new calipers, discs and pads found the drivers side to be ok. Pads covering all the disc surface all good. When doing the passengers side found the pads had a over hang over the top of the disc by around 3-4mm. The inside surface was 6-8mm from being covered by the pad.

Pad size is all ok. discs are the same size.

the only differences can be from the calipers. casting maybe not sure.

Any other suggestions welcome.

Where did you get the calipers from? Sounds like one could be from a B5 S4, they use 321mm discs.

Mmmmm interesting. Do there calipers look like the lucus caliper? That sounds about right by the dimensions the pads out on the disc surface. On the s4 b5 is the caliper nearer the front bumper or door?

What other audis uses the lucus caliper? A8???
Still no joy with passenger caliper. The type I have are the ones with the balancing weights. I was sent one without weight.

Any ideas?

Sorry, forgot to reply Craig. The B5 S4 calipers are trailing so near toe door.
Some A8's use them and the C5 S6 does. I think the type with the weights are the early ones. Thats what i have on mine and having a nightmare getting the correct pads, second attempt and they are still wrong.

Pads I found easy to find. I had cheap set but not up to the job. So now have yellowstuff. Yeah I am thinking they are early type.
