I do like these calipers, wanted a set but as I could buy 330mm GT3 adapters off the shelf I opted for them plus they are really too tight to run under 17", then again I went 19" then 18" alloys

Could do with some of them for my Skoda VRS, But i think our lass would kill me and say its a little overkill for a trip to work and back for her? Ha Ha
Just some finishing touches to do now

i ran 993 tt discs with custom bells. worked a treat. 17" as you say jamo is tight. they fit under bbs rs2 17" rims but stones cause inner rim scratches.
        18" worked fine.

Yeah the style of alloy plays a part also, when I was on 17" dezent because of the curves you had to treat it like a 16" for caliper fitment. RS2's allowed more room in that the 330mm GT3 fit fine for clearance under them.

Be interesting to compare to other set-ups as those calipers are LIGHT!
the disc and bells weigh a feckin ton!!....

Gazza - the brackets are stainless....the caliper itself weighed just a whisker over 4kg
....and I am struggling to get pads!!!.....it seems everything is for the 4 pot GT3 but cannot find the GT2 versions....well that don't cost an arm and a leg.....

Tese will be going under my S8's as seen in the photo...I doubt they will fit under my S4's I run over the winter.....so some new wheels for the winter period

Gazza runs EBC redstuff IIRC because of the price of pads

I recon you could throw a couple bits of buttered toast in the calipers and they'd still stop on a dime

                          yep i ran reds.

they worked fine tbh. issues to be aware of are the back plates come off and slip down and can mark the bells. nothing major.

the pads beroke in bits when removed. ive seen AP pads do the same so maybe its the pad size that makes it weaker?

ds pads were my prefered but they cost at the time 230 a set plus vat. i got the reds for 120 at the time. bout 3 years ago now.

DS2500s for the GT2 calipers are FRP3075H, Mike. I hooked one out of my calipers to check.
My pads were ~£250 for a set some time ago, cheaper than genuine Porsche items at the time.

The trouble is even with PET and a caliper part number, it will only give you the part number for the ceramic pads, BTDT.
