    ABS Ring and sensor spacing?

Now I'm only a two wheel drive guy and this is in reference to the rear brakes.

Anyway have changed the rear brake discs and have fitted a new ring to the disc, OE ABS ring on Pagid discs which has been pressed on.

Now when I've fitted it back up to the right "feel" on the bearing there is deffinate interference on the ABS sensor, looking at the old setup you can see that there is light rubbing as there is a clean ring through the corrosion.

So the question is should the sensor actually touch it, if not what gap should be maintained.

Hope someone has the answer before I get it rolling.

V6 Cabby 1998, now the next question is any idea how the sensor can be adjusted as it looks like a press fit?

push it in until it makes contact and then take it back a tiny bit (1mm as above). In reality if you leave it pushed down fully it will wear down a bit and then there will be a minimal gap. The bushing that holds it in place is a tight fit and it shouldn't move once you've set it.

I was hoping that the feedback was press fit style, will have a go at tweaking without breaking (well that's the plan)

          Thanks for your responses.
